154/2010 – Parallel framework agreements: reception of clean and polluted excavated masses. The awarding authority will require disposal of excavated masses from construction sites, subsequent to execution of maintenance and investment assignments. The excavated masses shall be delivered to an approved disposal site. The awarding authority wishes to deliver day and a night, also sundays and holidays. The awarding authority wishes to enter into parallel framework agreements with minimum 3 service providers, provided that there are sufficient numbers of suitable providers and tenders. It is expected that the annual requirements will be approx. 55 000 tonnes of non-polluted masses, 20 000 tonnes of polluted masses and 5 000 tonnes of heavy polluted excavated masses (hazardous waste). (BUD-65) supervision. Construction supervision services of the civil works of the Búðarháls Hydroelectric Project (HEP). The Búðarháls HEP is located in the lower highlands of southern Iceland on the rivers Tungnaá and Kaldakvísl at Búðarháls in the Rangárvallasýsla County. The project area extends over the Búðarháls ridge between the river Kaldakvísl and the existing Sultartanga reservoir some 150 km east of Reykjavík. The area is largely uninhabited except for the existing hydroelectric power plants at Hrauneyjafoss and Sultartangi and the Hrauneyjar Highland Centre (www.hrauneyjar.is) which is a hotel approximately 2 km west of the Hrauneyjafoss HEP. The Sporðalda reservoir will be formed mainly by two rockfill dams, the NW-dam that crosses the river Kaldakvísl, just upstream from the confluence with the river Tungnaá and the SE-dam that crosses the river Sporðöldukvísl just upstream of its confluence with the river Tungnaá. The construction of the Sporðalda reservoir also includes a spillway. A headrace tunnel (drill and blasting) around 4 km long through the Búðarháls ridge will convey water from the reservoir to a surge basin immediately upstream of the penstock intake. Steel lined penstocks connect this to the powerhouse. The powerhouse will be a conventional surface structure provided with 2 Kaplan type turbines. The rated net head is 36,0 m, rated discharge is 240 m3/s and the total installed capacity 80 MW. A tailrace canal about 0,4 km long will convey the discharge from the powerhouse to the Sultartanga reservoir. CPV: 71521000. ...
