The financial services compensation scheme (FSCS) is the UK's statutory fund of last resort for customers of authorised financial services firms. This means that the Authority can pay compensation when a firm is unable, or likely to be unable, to pay claims against it. UCL currently disposes of approximately 150 x 30 L containers of chemical waste a month, 50 x 60L bins of low level radioactive waste every 3 months and 16 tonnes of clinical waste a month. The contractor will supply both routine collections from UCL Departments and non routine collections (lab clearances, non routine radioactive waste etc.) Collections will be made from multiple locations throughout the university.
