IRL-Galway: network equipment
GMIT Framework for the supply, install and maintenance services of network equipment. Galway Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) would like to establish a framework agreement with a single operator for the supply, installation and maintenance of network equipment, including wireless and IP telephony, for a duration of 4 years. The initial contract will be for 12 months with an option to award further contracts within the 4 year period. The GMIT network infrastructure consists of an institute-wide switched Ethernet network across four campuses which are networked using leased lines. Each campus has a switched gigabit Ethernet backbone and is based on the end-to-end use of Cisco architecture and technologies. The network consists of approximately 100 active devices (switches, routers, firewalls etc) and it provides the infrastructure for wireless and IP telephony services to the institute. The range of equipment required under the framework will include, but not limited to, switches, routers and firewalls, etc and all equipment must be capable of integrating with the existing infrastructure. LCCG - Hire of operated plant re-tender (2011). IRL-Lifford: consultative engineering and construction services
Design of a new road bridge at Cockhill, Buncrana, Co. Donegal. Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified civil / structural engineering consultants for the design of a new road bridge at Cockhill, Buncrana, Co. Donegal. The bridge will span of approximately 25 m of river on a skew angle of around 40 degrees and will carry a 7 m carriageway and 2 number 2 m footways over the river crana. The new bridge on completion shall form part of the R238 and the Buncrana inner relief road. The designed structure will tie into two approach roads designed by Donegal County Council and shall be fully compliant with the NRA Design manual For Roads and Bridges and the eurocodes and all other relevant design standards. The sucessful candidate will be responsible for the full design of the structure including any required retaining walls. The services will also include site investigations, preparation of contract documents, supervision, verification and certification of the works, and project close out. The successful candidate will be appointed as PSDP and required to engage in various consultations including public meetings in order to progress the works. The successful candidate will provide the following design services.
