UK-Belfast: construction work
Pan Government Collaborative Framework Agreement for Minor Civil Engineering Works: Londonderry 2010. CPD, (the Central Purchasing Body) wishes to appoint an Economic Operator to enter into a Contract for the provision of services in relation to the completion of minor civil engineering works, including, but not limited to: The construction of roads, footways and car parks; remedial works to existing roads and sewers; fencing, gates and perimeter work; storm/foul drainage /water mains; mass and reinforced concrete work; site clearance/building demolition; earthworks; marine work including underwater work; design services; surveying/geotechnical investigations; structural steelwork; playing fields; minor building works and minor electrical works including street lighting. The framework will be based on the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract. The Framework Agreement can be accessed by any public sector organisation in Northern Ireland requiring works or services, including but not limited to Government Departments; Agencies; Non-departmental bodies; Local Authorities or other Contracting Authorities (including subsidised bodies or other grant recipients). A list of potential Employers is included in Appendix 2 of the MOI. Work Orders issued to the Contractor by CPD for any of the various Employers may result from a variety of circumstances and will be issued as and when requests for services are received by CPD. It is therefore likely that the Contractor will be required to work at more than one location within the region at any one time to meet the requirements of Central Procurement Directorate's programme of works. The Contractor will be expected to have sufficiently skilled and available resources necessary to meet the requirements of such a programme. It is expected that the Economic Operator will adopt an integrated supply chain approach to managing the provision of services. UK-Huyton: painting and glazing work
Redecoration and associated repair work. The Contracting Authorities wish to establish a 4 year non-binding framework agreement for the provision of redecoration and associated repair work. The framework agreements will be available for use by all UK contracting authorities, including, but not limited to the following organisations: 1. both current and future members, partners and customers of Fusion21; 2. the Contracting Authorities named in section I.1; 3. other partners, members and customers, both current and future, including any registered social landlord in the UK. The key objectives of the framework are: 1) to provide access to pre-tendered OJEU compliant frameworks for Fusion21 client organisations; 2) to deliver cashable and non-cashable efficiencies; 3) to link procurement activities in with training and employment opportunities. Contractors should note there will be an ongoing engagement with other contracting bodies identified in section II.1.5 and marketing to encourage uptake of this agreement. Contractors should note that the Contracting Authorities reserves the right to cancel this procurement at any stage and not to award a Framework Agreement. If the Contracting Authorities decide to enter into a Framework Agreement with the successful contractors this does not mean that there is any guarantee of subsequent contracts being awarded. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of potential suppliers. Any orders placed under this Framework Agreement will form a separate contract under the scope of this framework between the contractor and the specific requesting other contracting body. The Contracting Authorities and other contracting bodies utilising the framework, reserve the right to use any electronic portal during the life of the agreement.
