Background: Dorset County Council aims to effectively communicate with all its residents, workforce, visitors and businesses. One of the ways the Council communicates is through the medium of print in its many forms. The Council's in-house Design and Print Services (DPS) is responsible for providing all the Council's needs for print and design, however, there is a requirement for the Council to outsource work. This necessity to outsource may be due to lack of capacity, resource or technical ability to fulfil particular requirements within this in-house service. Requirement: the purpose of this tender process is to secure a framework of suppliers to provide print and design and associated services such as promotional signage, banners, exhibition and displays, etc., lamination and mounting to Dorset County Council. This framework has a combined estimated total annual value of 260 000 GBP. This figure is given for guidance only and the Council cannot guarantee this value of business will be generated during the period of the framework. The framework period will be for 2 years (24 months) from the date of award with a provision to extend for up to a further 2 years (24 months), subject to satisfactory performance as reviewed on a year by year basis. This will provide for a potential framework period of up to 4 years. The framework shall not be a guarantee of any award of a contract for services.
