Regional Hard FM Contracts. The London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (which runs the London Fire Brigade) ("the Authority") requires two contractors to deliver Hard FM services to Fire Stations, Training Premises and Headquarters buildings in the Greater London area through two regional Hard FM contracts as follows: — lot 1 – Regional Hard FM contract for locations North of the River Thames, and — lot 2 – Regional Hard FM contract for locations South of the River Thames. Contractors can apply for Lot 1 only, or Lot 2 only or for both Lots. The Authority intends to award two contracts to two different contractors. DFID requires a service provider to effectively implement the access to security and justice programme (ASJP), building on previous support under the justice sector development programme. This will involve working with a wide range of ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) and also with civil society organisations. ASJP demonstrates DFID's on-going commitment to transforming security and justice services to improve the lives of poor and vulnerable people. The objective is to effectively manage and facilitate the implementation of the ASJP, working collaboratively with both national and international partners, to deliver faster, fairer and cheaper security and justice and empower citizens to hold service providers to account. The service provider will also need to focus on the demand side and strengthen and expand the community-based approach to service provision and dispute resolution.
