The establishment of framework agreements for services related to microfilm digitisation. In this procurement, The National Library of Norway (NB) wishes to conclude framework agreements with suppliers that can offer digitisation of microfilms, OCR processing and structural analysis of digitised images with text content, and production of e-books. In addition, framework agreements may be concluded for consultancy services in the same areas. The historical microfilms that NB wishes to digitise are of differing quality, but constitute a significant part of NB's newspaper collection. In addition to OCR processing and structural analysis of digitised newspaper microfilms, this procurement may encompass OCR processing and structural analysis of text-based media types which NB has digitised itself. Examples include newspapers, books, periodicals, manuscripts, etc. The scope of the procurement will largely depend on the cooperation agreements NB concludes with the newspaper owners and other rights holders. A complete description of the delivery is contained in Appendix 1 to the Tender document.
