UK-London: television and radio receivers, and sound or video recording or reproducing apparatus
Audio visual equipment and installation inc supply of semi-professional camcorders and digital cameras. The purpose is to establish a framework agreement for the supply and delivery of an extensive range of audio visual goods that includes but is not limited to televisions, digital cameras, digital camcorders (non-broadcast) and the accessories for the products, in addition to ensuring that there are suppliers on the framework who are capable of supplying and installing a range of audio visual equipment. The framework agreement is to be split into 3 lots, as detailed in II.1.8. In relation to lots 1 and 2, it is key to the BBC that suppliers must be able to provide not only technology that is in use at the present time within the BBC but also new technology as it appears on the market. The goods that are outlined are perceived as being within a market that is fast moving and easily affected by external factors that influence price. The BBC expects that suppliers must have experience in dealing with large multi-site organisations and a range of rapid delivery solutions is required to all BBC premises to include next day delivery. In relation to lot 3 the BBC are looking to establish a framework of suppliers to supply and install a range of audio visual equipment for use in conference rooms, meeting rooms, training rooms and general office areas.
