CR/RIS/PACS Replacement. South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest Trusts in England, comprising of the 2 acute sites of James Cook University Hospital, Middlesborough and the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton. Additionally services are provided at 5 Community sites spread over a large geographical area. The James Cook site has both a large general Radiology Department and a Neuroradiology Department. The Trust offers all modalities including a well equipped radiology service with 3 x 1.5T MRI scanners and 4 multi-slice CT scanners. Plans are advanced for an additional 3T MRI scanner. The Trust provides a full range of diagnostic, interventional and cross-sectional imaging modalities currently producing approximately 400 000 studies per annum. Tenders are invited by the Trust for a fully integrated Radiology Information System and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System) solution. The solution should provide full desktop integration and Voice Recognition within the clinical reporting workflow. An easily accessible, comprehensive management report tool should also be provided. The procurement will include elements of plain x-ray acquisition (DR/CR) as part of this tender. Full Data Migration from old to new systems is required. Business continuity services should be included as a costed option. Diagnostic quality workstations will be provided as part of the solution as well as a facility for hospital clinicians to view images on standard pre existing Trust PCs. A costed option for a Cardiology image storage/review solution is also invited. This option will include systems to support Catheter labs and echo cardiograms.
