Procurement of Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) (CVR(T)) Scimitar Hand Firing Switch (HFS). Military vehicles and associated parts. The Authority has a potential requirement for the procurement of Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance(Tracked)(CVR(T))Scimitar Hand Firing Switch (HFS) to mitigate a Category 'B' safety hazard. It is estimated that the quantity required will be 240 HFS with a potential option for a further 110, should the option be exercised. These quantities are estimates only. Manufacture and test shall be in accordance with supplied drawings. QA Standards or equivalent: The Contractor shall hold and maintain, as a minimum, a certification to BS EN ISO 9001:2008, or equivalent, issued by a United Kingdom Accreditation Society accredited certification body. Estimated Duration of contract: 6 months with the potential for a 6 month extension. Additional Information: Late expressions of interest shall not be considered. This requirement will be awarded to the most economically advantageous solution. This will be based on the following criteria: 1) delivery; 2) price; 3) quality. The Authority intends to invite between 5–8 companies to tender and therefore may wish to conduct a pre-qualification exercise to assist in the down selection. Only those companies that can demonstrate a sufficient level of competence, experience and resources against the Authority's pre-qualification criteria will be invited to tender. Should interested parties wish to provide any promotional material for review, please ensure this does not exceed 5 x A4 size pages. Companies should also detail their previous experience in this field. The announcement of a future requirement is not to be construed as confirmation that a tender/contract will subsequently be issued. The issue of a possible future requirement, or the issue of an Invitation to Tender, are not to be construed as a commitment by the MoD to place an order as a result of the tendering stage or at a later stage. UK-Wolverhampton: solar photovoltaic modules
Civic centre photovoltaic electrical installation. The Civic Centre is a 4 story city centre building with a large un-shaded flat roof that has 700 mm high permanent edge protection and a specialist water proof membrane (ballasted mounting system will be required to avoid any roof penetrations). We require a PV system that will provide us with the maximum amount of electrical energy for a set construction cost of 150 000 GBP. The system will require linking in to the buildings existing electrical infrastructure with the capability of exporting any excess energy back to the grid, all shall be compliant with the micro generation certificate scheme and regional DNO requirements so that the council can take full advantage of the governments feed in tariff scheme.
