It is expected that the contract will start in January 2011. The Directorate will be responsible for driving and integrating the scientific, knowledge exchange, data management and communications aspects of the programme. It is expected that the Directorate will be hosted by an organisation with sufficient institutional capacity to support the Directorate and the activities required of it.
