NO-Trondheim: telecommunications network
Access to wireless network in the centre of Trondheim. The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority (which also includes companies with identical Business Register Number as the Awarding Authority and which are under the Awarding Authority's administration, e.g. BIBSYS), wishes to expand the wireless campus network to also cover the centre of Trondheim and make campus more available for Trondheim city's remaining population. Furthermore, the procurement shall establish a platform for further expansions in Trondheim and for collaboration regarding research, product development and education with the service provider and with other customers, clients and partners associated with the service provider. The Awarding Authority wants to provide the students and employees the opportunity to execute studies / work activities in the expanded network. Primarily, the procurement shall be used in the Awarding Authority's Wireless Trondheim Living Lab (WTLL) which is a part of a the research and innovation structure in the EU for modern product and service innovation (research and testing) where users in daily life are actively involved in research and innovation processes.
