Provision of Data Buoy Hulls. The Met Office is an Executive Agency of the UK Ministry of Defence, occupying a world leading position in meteorology, climatology and environmental science with an expanding and increasingly global customer base. The Met Office has a requirement for the supply and maintenance of Marine data collection platforms and buoys. There are currently 8 deployed deep ocean moored systems and 2 inshore systems with an expectation of network expansion. With this in mind the intention is to award a 3 year Framework Agreement for the supply of Marine navigation marks (Light weight) and other Marine systems enclosures.
