Inverness Campus - Phase 1 infrastructure project. HIE's proposed Phase 1 Campus of approximately 36 hectares on a green field site at Beechwood, Inverness will enable the creation of a number of facilities including: a college, university and other educational facilities; health facilities, student residences, a social enterprise hotel, sports facilities, business incubator and research and other technology facilities. Organisations involved in such facilities include Inverness College, University of Highlands & Islands, Scottish Agricultural College and Centre for Health Science. UK-Exeter: marker buoys
Provision of Data Buoy Hulls. The Met Office is an Executive Agency of the UK Ministry of Defence, occupying a world leading position in meteorology, climatology and environmental science with an expanding and increasingly global customer base. The Met Office has a requirement for the supply and maintenance of Marine data collection platforms and buoys. There are currently 8 deployed deep ocean moored systems and 2 inshore systems with an expectation of network expansion. With this in mind the intention is to award a 3 year Framework Agreement for the supply of Marine navigation marks (Light weight) and other Marine systems enclosures. Technical requirements are expected to include: — supply or design and upgrade of up to 10 (approximate diameter 3 metres) Deep Ocean moored buoys, — supply of up to 10 1 metre (approximate diameter) Inshore Buoys, — supply of up to 10 2 meter (approximate diameter) Coastal Buoys, — design and development of Marine enclosures (Ship and land based).
