MT-Gwardamangia: measles-mumps-rubella vaccines
Supply of measles / mumps / rubella vaccine. Each unit dose of 0,5mL freeze dried attenuated vaccine should contain a combination of measles, mumps and rubella vaccines. The acceptable strains and concentrations for each component are: Measles: Edmonston or Schwartz strain (at least 1 000 CCID50 per dose) and prepared on chick embryo cell culture. Mumps: Jeryl Lynn or Rubini strain (at least 12 500 CCID50 per dose) and prepared on chick embryo cell culture. Rubella: Wistar RA strain (at least 1 000 CCID50 per dose) and prepared on chick embryo or human diploid cells. Tenders are to clearly specify the mode of propagation and preparation of the viruses for the vaccine.and only vaccines that do not use or contain human albumen or other human blood products will be considered unless no such product is on offer. Each dose of MMR should only contain traces of neomycin and definitely not more than 25mcg. The MMR vaccine should be for deep subcutaneous or intramuscular administration and each phial should be dispatched accompanied with the appropriate diluent. Tenderers are to submit quotations for single dose preparations. Any descriptive literature is to be submitted in English. Labelling: Pertinent storage conditions should be clearly indicated on the outer package. The preservative contained in the vaccine is to be specified. Offers for vaccines containing thiomersal and/or other mercurial preservatives will only be considered if no other acceptable vaccine with an alternative preservative is offered. Vaccine consignments are to be packed in temperature-controlled packaging. Inside the packaging there must be included cold-chain monitors and freeze-watch indicators adequately and appropriately filled. Consignments must be delivered intact and still sealed by the manufacturer. NB. Further to requirements concerning temperature monitoring, tenderers are to make specific declarations concerning the thermal stability of vaccine offered. ICT (Wireless) Wide Area Network Installation, Management and Maintenance Services. Aberdeenshire Council requires to upgrade and replace the existing Wide Area Network (WAN) to provide sufficient bandwidth to Schools and offices across Aberdeenshire in order to meet the demands of modern ICT systems, in particular in relation to the National Glow Project and the Councils Worksmart programme. The new network will build upon and utilise elements of the existing core high capacity network and the wireless hilltop solution currently being built. The Council is also in the process of building a core Hilltop based Wireless backbone across Aberdeenshire in support of a PMR (Private Mobile Radio) requirement and it is envisaged that this high capacity Network will be key in delivering the last mile scenario solutions required to meet this tender specification.
