LWL metal recycling tender. LondonWaste (LWL) incinerates in the region of 500 000 tonnes of municipal waste each year via our energy centre and generates circa 90 000 tonnes of incinerator bottom ash (IBA) as a by-product of the process. LWL holds a contract for processing the IBA with Ballast Phoenix Ltd (BPL) and both LWL and BPL recover ferrous and non-ferrous metal from the IBA. The contract is for the collection and recycling of the recovered metal waste consisting of 3 streams, namely ferrous metal, non-ferrous metal and fine (<20mm) non-ferrous metal. The contract is expected to run from 1.9.2011 to 15.12.2013 with an option to extend for a maximum of 2 further periods until no later than 15.12.2015. The successful contractor(s) will be required to collect the waste from the London Waste EcoPark location, process the material to an acceptable standard, market the end products and dispose of any residues. Provision of repairs to accident damaged vehicles. The Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) as the contracting authority is tendering for the supply of repairs to accident damaged vehicles to the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS). The MPA/MPS is seeking through this tendering process to set up a supply framework with suitably capable contractors to provide these services for an initial term of 24 months and a unilateral option of the MPA/MPS to extend for further periods up to a maximum of 24 months. The MPS wishes to appoint motor vehicle damage repairers to carry out accident repairs to third party vehicles that have been damaged by the MPS fleet. The suppliers will be required to attend the site of the damaged vehicle, fix minor problems on site e.g. wing mirrors and if this is not possible recover the vehicle to their premises, repair it then return it to the owner. The vast majority of vehicles requiring repair will be located within the London Boroughs. The contract will operate on a list basis whereby successful bidders are appointed to the framework and ranked according to their score / price. It is not possible to specify the actual element of the technical output (i.e. type of damage to the vehicle) due to the nature of the damage being unforeseen. The Awarding Authority invites to an open tender contest where the purpose is to enter into a framework agreement regarding water protection measures for Molde parking building. Molde parking building is a facility blasted in rock and the rock is covered with gunite. The facility comprises of 7 parking halls with a length of approx. 135 m as well as access roads.
