UK-Ludlow: riverbank protection works
Linney riverside park phase 1 - erosion control works. The Ludlow Town Council operates an amenity area located at the Linney, Ludlow (SY8 1EE), UNITED KINGDOM. This flood plain area has been identified as suffering from significant river bank erosion issues. We are tendering for the design and installation of a solution to remedy this issue. Due to river conditions and restrictions imposed by the Environment Agency the earliest remedial work can begin is in early Spring 2011. The remedial work to the bank will be part of a wider redevelopment of the site and as such works will have to be completed in conjunction with other work happening on-site. The works to the bank must be completed no later than the end of July 2011, allowing ample time for the rest of the site to be developed in time for a re-launch of the completed site in summer 2011.
