Level 3 integrated sexual health services - NHS Hampshire & NHS Portsmouth. NHS Hampshire and NHS Portsmouth Primary Care Trust(s) within NHS South Central invite expressions of interest from all suitably qualified and experienced healthcare providers (including e.g. general practitioners, social enterprise / third sector organisations and other providers) to provide level 3 integrated sexual health services. The services to be provided include: HIV treatment & care, GUM services; contraception & reproductive health services (including termination of pregnancy services); psychosexual counselling; HIV prevention & sexual health promotion services; co-ordination and delivery of the local chlamydia screening programme; and the co-ordination and delivery of professional development and training for local sexual health practitioners. In accordance with the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2001/ Mental Health Act 2007, consultation has already commenced or is due to commence in relation to all of the above schemes. Provision of children's centres. Essex County Council is seeking an innovative, cost effective provider of children's services to provide a community resource for prospective parents, children aged under five years and their families to be delivered within localities across Essex for the period from April 2012 to March 2014. This community resource needs to be flexible and able to respond to the needs of the relevant area(s). This community resource is anticipated to be commissioned at a quadrant level in order to ensure that it reflects the needs of the pre-birth to 5 population and their families within the area and is driven by local priorities, as identified as part of the local Children's commissioning and delivery board commissioning plans. The core purpose of this provision will be to improve the outcomes and life chances for children and their families by offering an early intervention support. Essex County Council is the Accountable Body for eighty five (85) Children's Centres across the county delivering preventative services to approximately of 78 850 children aged under five and their families. Essex County Council is proposing at this stage to allocate these Children's centres into four quadrants comprising Mid, West, South and North-East Essex. Essex County Council hopes to confirm that this is the preferred approach by 16/5/11. Essex County Council will be looking to the bidders to provide innovative and cost-effective ways in which to deliver these services at a Quadrant level.
