UK-Glasgow: medical equipments, pharmaceuticals and personal care products
Supply of Fludeoxyglucose [18F] Injection (Ph Eur monograph 1325). The PET-CT scanner based in Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow regularly scans eleven patients per day. A second scanner is due to be installed in April 2011. It is anticipated that the patient throughput will approximately double. There is a requirement for 18F-FDG to be delivered to the site on a daily basis. The service currently operates 5 days per week, 52 weeks of the year. Scans are currently being performed to 18:00 hours in the evening and this may be extended to 20:00 hours. It is understood that the 18F-FDG may have to be delivered in two batches, however the first delivery must be before 09:30 hours. Reliability of supply is critical. The 18F-FDG is usually administered using 5 ml syringes. Thus it is preferable that the volume of any individual patient dose does not exceed this. The length of contract is 6 months with a possible extension of 3 x 6 months. There is a possibility that the on-site cyclotron will become operational during this period. In this case the requirement will be for the supplier to provide a back up service for the on-site system. CPV: 33000000, 09343000, 33696500. ...
