North Devon Homes PRC Project. The housing stock of North Devon Homes Ltd (NDH) includes homes located in some of the most deprived areas in the South West region. To facilitate significant economic and housing change NDH has for some two years been developing pans for the regeneration of three large sites in the Barnstaple area to create well balanced and sustainable communities in which people are proud to live and work. The entire scheme for these three sites will comprise the demolition of 215 existing houses including 213 prefabricated reinforced concrete homes that NDH currently own, to provide 335 new homes. The 335 new homes comprise a mixture of tenures. Currently it is envisaged that there will be approximately 60 market sales units, 54 shared ownership units and 221 social rented units. It is intended that the overall regeneration scheme will be divided into a number of phases so as to facilitate the successful decanting and rehousing of existing tenants on each site and the extended economic benefit to the local area.
