UK-north west construction hub: low value (0 – 250 000 GBP, 150 000 - 500 000 GBP) design and construct/construct only framework. The projects let under the framework agreement are of a construct only or a design and construct nature with regards to demolition, in-fill and land reclamation work, development, refurbishment or remodeling of existing properties owned and / or used by the framework users, new build projects or a combination of all these aspects inclusive of any external work associated with these projects. Works covered may include the new build and refurbishment of the following building types: education including primary and secondary schools, universities and colleges of further education and training establishments. Leisure recreation and culture, health, library, fire, ambulance & police, day-care, nursery care, social care, assisted housing, elderly homes, specialist facilities, transport depots, park and ride, bus stations, recycling facilities, offices & other operational, residential, industrial & commercial buildings. The specific projects that may be procured under this framework agreement cannot be clearly defined at this stage. The number and size of projects that may be procured will be dictated by the allocation of the prospective framework users capital spend programme over the term of the agreement. As part of Cestria's strategy to achieve the UK government's decent homes standard and to meet the promises made to tenants prior to the ballot and its other investment objectives, it conducted a full stock survey of all homes in 2009.
