UK-Nottingham: other community, social and personal services
Oxygen Assessment Service. NHS Northamptonshire (NHSN) invites expressions of interest from qualified and experienced healthcare service providers to deliver high quality, responsive Oxygen Assessment Service (OAS) tailored to the needs of our local population. We anticipate the OAS contract will be awarded during June 2011, with a service to commence on 1st September 2011 for a period of 3 years with the option to extend. Central to delivery are the requirements to provide an integrated oxygen service in line with the British Thoracic Guidelines for the Provision of the Oxygen Service (British Thoracic Society 2006). The provider will ensure that all services provided for NHSN will meet these requirements in full. NHSN are looking for providers to innovate and design services that extend and build on theses national guidelines. Organisations wishing to provide the service should be aware that the specification may be subject to changes in the national guidelines and, any other amendments or additions to relevant legislation. In addition to the national guidelines the provider must ensure the following: — the service reviews all new referrals to establish the appropriate level of oxygen and support patients in the use of oxygen, — the service reviews all existing patients annually to ensure that the level of oxygen prescribing is still appropriate, — ensure that assessment clinics are provided in both home / community settings as well as secondary settings, — regular user evaluation and feedback to support continual service development and improvement, — improve quality of life for the patient, — the service will conform to a countywide specification. It is NHSN expectations that the service will be managed centrally through one provider that ensures teams are based in both the north and the south of the county. To be considered you must be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of successfully providing a OAS and be in a state of readiness to meet this deadline and exacting NHSN requirements. It should be noted that it is envisaged that the PCT may require this contract to be assigned or transferred to any successor of the PCT, which shall include GP commissioning consortia or any other commissioning board or body taking on the PCT's functions, pursuant to a direction of the Secretary of State for Health or otherwise. UK-London: data entry services
Customer relationship management (CRM) system data entry and validation framework. Data entry services. Data entry and validation. The Department for Business Innovation and Skills (UK Trade & Investment – UKTI) is seeking to let a single supplier framework agreement for manual data entry and validation for its customer relationship management (CRM) system. Whilst the majority of UKTI's staff has direct access to the system, a number of its third party organisations working under contract to UKTI do not. These organisations provide customer data in electronic format (normally Ms Excel workbooks, MS Word or similar) which would need to be validated and entered onto the CRM system by the successful contractor within agreed timescales. There will also be requirements to amend selected "data flags", assist with the potential validation and migration of data into a new customer data management system (CDMS) when introduced in 2012 and undertake other ad hoc tasks under the general framework agreement. We estimate that maximum total value of the call off contracts awarded during the framework period will be 350 000 GBP but that no warranty is being given as the actual amount that will occur. The framework agreement will cover a period of just under 3 years from July 2011 to March 2014. When the new CDMS is phased in during 2012 it could lead to a reduction in the amount of work undertaken by the successful contractor in the latter years of the framework agreement. UKTI is an international organisation with its headquarters in London and Glasgow. It employs around 2 300 staff and advisors located in its UK Headquarters, Trade Offices in 9 English regions plus UK embassies, high commissions, consulates across the world. It brings together the export development and inward investment] work of its parent UK government departments (Department for Business Innovation and Skills and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office).
