Redevelopment of Cambridge fire station. Cambridge Fire & Rescue Authority wishes to procure new fire station facilities and associated facilities on the existing fire station site in Cambridge and has entered into a development agreement dated 22.5.2006 with The Parkside Partnership station LLP (The "Developer") ("the Development Agreement"). The scheme is currently aniticpated to comprise the building of a new fire station and 99 apartments (which it is envisaged may include a basement car park and associated external works, drainage and infrastructure works). The Authority reserves the right to change the scope of this project including the number of facilities the project is to cover. The successful contractor will enter into a building contract with the Developer (or such other party who has the benefit and burden of the "Developer" of the Development Agreement at the date of the building contract) as well as collateral warranty with the Authority.
