Engineering design, primary school Tjeldstø. In spring 2009 the Planning and Construction committee completed a room plan for a new 7 grade primary school. The school shall be located at Nesmyra in Tjeldstø. The school shall have a gross area of approx. 2 600 m². During spring 2009, a design contest for the school was initiated where the room plan was included in the tender documents. Subsequent to prequalification, 4 architects' offices were appointed to prepare a tender proposal in the form of a draft project. In May 2010 a jury comprising members from the Planning and Construction committee and architects appointed by the National Association of Norwegian Architects, nominated the tender proposal "Schola Insula" as a winner of the design contest. The winner proposal is developed by the architects Vis à Vis A/S. Øygarden municipality (the Awarding Authority) has entered into a contract with the Architects Vis à Vis A/S as a provider of architectural services and landscape architect services. This company shall also carry out engineering design services. The Awarding Authority will appoint a work party with representatives from the various interests and user groups of the project which will appear as the user group's representatives in the engineering design group in connection with continuation and further development of the draft project. Framework agreement generator for small hydropower stations. Småkraft AS was established in 2002. The object of the company is to build and operate small environmentally friendly river power plants ("Run of the River" – ROR). Småkraft AS has per today 23 power plants in operation and another 10 under construction. Additional 200 contracts are signed with landowners to develop their waterfalls, equivalent to 2300 GWh. The rate of development is approximately 10 power plants each year. To secure cost efficiency Småkraft pursuits standard technical solutions, open interfaces, re-use and improvement of concepts. Use of frame agreements is a part of this strategy to develop long-term relationship with appropriate suppliers.
