Lee Valley Regional Park Authority (hereinafter "the Authority") has a requirement for the procurement of a range of white water rafts & paddles for the new Broxbourne White Water Canoe Centre. White water rafts: The Authority is looking for a range of white water rafts with a minimum capacity of three adults to a maximum capacity of 10 adults. The specification of the rafts must as a minimum be able to demonstrate that; — The rafts are made from a proven a robust material that can be used on a conveyor belt, — When inflated weigh's no more than 75kg and is no more than 2.1 meters wide, — Can be repaired on site, — Can be transported when inflated easily, — Has a universal inflating system, — Have inflatable sections all the way around the raft with baffles that are of the strength and position that keep the raft afloat even when damaged, — Have a flexible bottom to the raft (i.e. not plywood), — Have inflatable cross members only, — Valves that are mounted inside the rafts, — The front rise must be angled upwards to lift the bow over the water.
