A number of improvements have been identified to the existing Line 1 dissolution process in the A336 building which comprises new items of plant and upgrades to existing equipment to comply with currently applicable standards. Disposal of seized motor vehicles – UK Nationwide. UK Border Agency (UKBA) is seeking the provision of an efficient and environmentally friendly disposal service of motor vehicles seized by the Authority. The Authority seizes a wide range of vehicles in the course of its activities. These include cars, motorcycles, caravans, plant, buses, coaches, semi-trailers, LCVs and HGVs. The make- up of the fleet may vary and occasionally include items such as aircraft and boats. The Authority will release vehicles to the Contractor in the condition in which they were seized and stored. In many cases the Authority has no evidence of the provenance of the vehicle and therefore can give no guarantees. The Provider shall be fully responsible for all checks on the vehicle's background and provenance along with any statements and descriptions. The majority of vehicles will have no ownership, registration or service documentation. On occasions no keys will be available. Both left and right hand drive vehicles are available for disposal. A proportion of vehicles seized by the Authority have no UK registration documentation. Foreign registered vehicles may require registration plates to be returned via their embassies/consulates. The requirement shall include loading and collection of vehicles from the Authorities Storage sites between Monday to Friday, during normal working hours 08:00 to 18:00.
