UK-Leicester: reprographic services
UK-Cambridgeshire, Central Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire: managed reprographic services - 2731/11. This procurement is for the provision of a managed reprographic service for Cambridgeshire County Council, Cambridge City Council and Central Bedfordshire Council. This is likely to include e-business printing, document imaging, FOI requests and (as a separate lot within the tender exercise) a managed service for MFDs and printers located throughout the authorities' offices. Other related services may additionally be required within the contract. Not all of the participating councils named above will necessarily contract for the provision of all services. The reprographic element of the contract is currently valued at a combined figure of 370 000 GBP per annum for Cambridgeshire County Council and Cambridge City Council, and 300 000 GBP per annum for Central Bedfordshire Council (note that these figures do not represent any guarantee of future business levels). Applicants should note that that during the contract term, its scope may be extended to incorporate the similar requirements of other eligible bodies within the region (such bodies may include shared service partners, such as Northamptonshire County Council). It should also be noted that whilst Cambridgeshire County Council are undergoing an upgrade of their payroll system, payslip production will be excluded from their requirements in the short term, but will ultimately be needed. It is anticipated that the nature of the requirements will continue to change over time, in response to the imminent Comprehensive Spending Review, ongoing rationalisation of local budgets, and organisational and technological developments. The contract will therefore be scoped to embody the capacity to evolve as necessary to accommodate these developments. Although a single tender exercise will be conducted to address the entire requirement, the right is reserved to award contracts separately for each participating authority and/or each lot. It is unlikely that any council will be able to provide accommodation for the service provider. A facility may be available to lease from Central Bedfordshire Council and/or Cambridge City Council, but it is considered unlikely that the whole service could satisfactorily be provided from just a single location. It is possible that a small number of staff currently employed in the provision of services may be eligible to transfer to any incoming contractor, in accordance with the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006. Reprographic services. CPV: 79520000. ...
