Enabling contract for the manufacture, supply, repair, and provision of technical services for maritime hydraulic equipment. Hydraulic equipment. Maritime Equipment Systems has a future requirement for the supply, manufacture, repair, and provision of technical assistance services, for a wide and diverse range of "marinised" hydraulic and mechanical handling equipment used onboard Royal Navy Ships and Submarines. The requirement will cover complex, general and heavy duty hydraulic equipment (to include, but not necessarily limited to pumps, motors, valves, filters, linear/rotary actuators). It will require the successful candidate to demonstrate competence and experience with the manufacture, repair and test of all hydraulic and mechanical systems. This will include the requirements associated with the management of First level Equipment through the SSP25 process and the Low Magnetic Equipment required by the MCM Flotilla. The equipment will include, but is not necessarily limited to; — Aircraft lifts, — Weapon lifts, — Helicopter handling systems, — Submarine mast raising systems, — MCM Low magnetic equipment, — Capstans, anchors and winches, — HM Ship & submarine hydraulic plants and systems. Contract requirements may include but not be limited to the following services and supply: — Project management, — Post design services, — Provision of spares and consumables, — Repairs of spares and components, — Overhaul of equipment and sub-assemblies, — Provision of reactive engineering support, — Rationalisation of spares lists, — Obsolescence management, — Training. The contract may contain lists of items that will only require pricing during the duration of the contract when ordered by the Authority. Suppliers wishing to express an interest in this requirement are required to: Submit a copy of their accredited 3rd Party (or Government Issued) Quality management system (QMS) certification which includes an appropriate scope to meet the requirement. In the event that no certification is held, the company must be able to demonstrate that they operate and maintain a QMS acceptable to the Department for this requirement. Confirm that they are willing or able to trade electronically using the Purchase to payment (P2P) business process. Companies who submit an Expression of Interest will be required to complete and submit a pre-qualification questionnaire to confirm their suitability to be included in the tender panel for this requirement. The Authority's decision in this matter will be final.
