Dry-docking and refurbishment of R/V Dana. Preface: During autumn 2010 the vessel R/V Dana is to be dry-docked and refurbished in order to ensure future safe and efficient operation, work to include all required class work. R/V DANA is a multi-purpose fisheries and general purpose research vessel (stern trawler), for worldwide operation, classed for ice navigation and equipped to carry out research fields among: environmental, biological, geological and fisheries. The vessel has five laboratories provided with various equipment for analysis and measurements as well as gear for trawl fishing, water sampling and sampling from the seabed. The vessel is to be dry-docked and overhauled as per owners specification. The work is to be carried out at a well reputed ship repair yard.
