NO-Porsgrunn: system quality assurance assessment and review services
Quality assurance Storage and well – Technical and costs. Gassnova (the Awarding Authority) has, by means of resources from Owners Engineer, implemented studies in connection with geological storage, drilling and well for storage of CO2 from Kårstø in Utsira south. The work is expected to be completed by the end of August. The project will require independent verification/quality assurance (Independent Project Review, IPR) of the work carried out by Owners Engineer. The verification/quality assurance shall be documented in a report. The report will be included in a possibly "application for geological storage" to the Norwegian authorities. Corresponding works in connection with storage of CO2 from the Mongstad project are scheduled and this will also include verification/quality assurance oft the completed works. This will be an option to this agreement. The time schedule for the Mongstad project is expected to be ready during autumn 2009. This work will also include preparation of a report identical with the one which shall be prepared for the Kårstø project. The Awarding Authority wishes to enter into a contract with one supplier who can cover all necessary competence areas and who has an established substantiated quality assurance system. The following works are requested quality assured/verified: — geo-physical/geological assessments, — configuration of reservoir model/reservoir simulations, — production technology (without flow technical analyses. These are covered through Gassco's studies at IKM), — well design, drilling and completion of injection wells, — the assignment may also include quality assurance for other alternatives.
