Sulitjelma school, alteration and new building, Fauske municipality. Project Sulitjelma school is divided up into 3 construction stages which shall be preferably carried out after each other. Construction stage 1 – new building – execution of a new school building, total area 1 212 m2 divided between 3 floors. 2 floors shall be used for teaching, the third floor is a technical room. Construction stage 1 shall be entirely completed before the works in construction stage 2 can be started. Construction stage 2 – existing school building – alteration of an existing school with upgrades to the current requirements and the establishment of a lift. Construction stage 3 – demolition of an existing old school consisting of wood, construction year approx. 1900-1915 and a concrete middle building (construction year approx. 1968). The demolition building has a ground area of approx 600 m2 and has 4 floors. The nature and outdoor installations shall also be carried out in construction stage 3. Construction stage 3 shall also include the demolition of the old high school (Yellow building) with a ground area of approx. 220 m2 over 2 floors + a loft. The building shall be demolished with the accompanying stores/garage. The high school building can be used by contractors for barracks etc. during the whole of the construction period and the demolished when the barracks are taken down before completion.
