The Director of Engineering requests quotations for the supply and install Lot 1 10ft X 40ft Anti-Vandal Office Units to the various locations Ireland as listed below in the schedule of tender. The following must be provided for in office unit: — all cabins should have a steel outer skin with shutters on the windows/doors with secure locks, — all cabins must have a 30 minute minimum fire rating, — lighting 6 no 1.2m fluorescent strip lights (3 no on each aisle), — 4 no. twin sockets to e.n. standards or equivalent, — 1 no. antivandal steel external door fitted with 5 lever motice lever and key. position of door to be agreed with the contracting authority, — internal solid core door with 400mm x 400mm glazed vision panel, — windows: 2 no. openable double glazed pvc. position of windows to be agreed with the contracting authority, — internal fuse board, — external finish 2mm mild steel grade 275 colour nato green 285, — 4mm industrial linoleum floor cover throughout, — 'u' value of floor min 0.3w/m2k, — 1 no.storage heater 1.5kw to 2kw located in center of cabin on wall. room stat to control temp between 13c-16c to be linked to the heater, — internal width of cabin to be min of 2.96m, — vinyl face internal wall finish, — class 'o' material on walls with min 'u'value 0.35w/m2k, — all floors must be capable of supporting normal office filing cabinets, tables and office traffic, that is all floors must conform to the weight category specified for commercial buildings in accordance with bs 5950 & bs 6399, — warranties: 18 months parts, — lifespan: 25 years. Power and utility services will be provided to the front door. Ground surface will be hard standing requiring pads in some instances. UCL is seeking to select a contractor for the compliant collection and disposal of its hazardous waste, including the collection, transport and disposal of clinical, offensive, radioactive, chemical waste, fluorescent tubes, batteries, the supply of packaging and the provision of related services.
