UK-Maidstone: decoration work
Cyclical decorations PP299. Orbit East and South is seeking to appoint preferred suppliers for the provision of Cyclical Decoration Works, Internal and External decoration services to their properties. The contract is to undertake preparation, repairs, re-decoration and associated works in relation to the General Needs Housing, Sheltered and Supported Housing owned or managed in the Orbit East and South operating areas. It is anticipated that approximately 20 % of the entire stock, of 14,591 properties, approximately 2 900 properties, will be decorated annually in line with the 5 year cyclical programme. The successful contractor will be responsible for cyclical repairs and painting including. — The provision of competent operatives and approved materials to ensure high standards of workmanship, — The identification of all necessary repairs and effective completion of those repairs in advance of the painting, — Preparation of surfaces in advance of surface treatment, — Painting, wallpapering, anti-graffiti, and other surface treatments to external areas and internal communal areas, — Routine maintenance of uPVC and other doors and windows, — Carpentry and joinery repairs or renewal works, render and plaster repairs and renewals, — Rainwater, gutter and soil pipe renewal and repairs, — Window & door frame repairs, including both timber and uPVC where required before painting, — The provision of safe means of access to undertake the Works, — Effective customer care and communications with residents and client representatives in order to ensure the smooth running of the programme of work and requisite customer satisfaction. It is anticipated that the works will be valued using a NHF Schedule of Rates for pre-paint repairs and archetype-based package prices for internal (communal areas only) and external preparation, painting, cleaning and other surface treatments. IRL-Athlone: petroleum products, fuel, electricity and other sources of energy
Request for proposals for land sale for the provision of a centralised alternative energy centre. It is IDA Property Division's intent to enable, in conjunction with the private sector, centralized alternative energy centres at specific locations throughout its property portfolio in Ireland. The first of these locations is Letterkenny business and technology park where a site within the park of up to 3 hectares (7,4 acres) is being made available to purchase for the purpose of creating a centralized alternative energy centre. A condition of the sale is that the project must include the provision of a district heating network to serve the IDA land holding and both existing and future IDA/EI clients. Other significant users in the immediate catchment area can also be included in the successful applicant's scheme. IDA Ireland will provide a site on a restrictive user basis for the specific purpose of a centralised alternative energy centre. The lease will be for 999 years and must be purchased at the current IDA board approved land price. Applicants are invited to submit proposals for the purchase of a site within Letterkenny business & technology park for the purpose of developing an alternative energy centre. UK-Waterbeach: modular and portable buildings
RAF Molesworth - re-locatable data centre. Modular and portable buildings. The project works are to be undertaken at RAF Molesworth. The proposed projects works (the Data Centre and all associated infrastructure) is to be an unoccupied, re-locatable, 482m2 facility with the ability to be erected, disassembled and removed. It will consist of four principal spaces: a Data Hall, a UPS room a switchroom and an entrance lobby. The facility has specialised security requirements and will require extensive computer and communications related equipment. The facility will house a significant value of specific specialist IT equipment that will be sourced from list of suitable providers. The Contractor will be required to co-ordinate is design and manage any arising interfacing issues with this IT equipment supplier. The new Data Centre building shall remain the property of the Works Contractor for a five- year and be leased to the end user with an option to purchase. The Hot aisle Containment systems communications equipment contained within the building will become the property the US visiting forces upon initial commissioning of the building. The building is to be classified as a Secure communications interpretation facility (SCIF) and must meet requirements of the US Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/9 The facility will have significant mechanical and electrical equipment. Uninterrupted power supply (UPS) is required for critical power and a back-up generator with fuel tank is required for 100 % of the building power load. Windows & Doors Supply & Installation PP284. Windows and doors supply and installation. Orbit East and South is seeking to appoint a preferred supplier to survey, supply and fit external doors and windows to individual and communal dwellings. Any replacements carried out must comply with current building regulations and thermal performance standards. The contract is to undertake replacement, repairs and new installations of windows, doors and frames and associated works in relation to the General Needs Housing, Sheltered and Supported Housing owned or managed by Orbit East and South. It is anticipated that approximately 600 properties (1/30th of the entire stock) will be upgraded annually in line with the 30 year renewal programme. The successful provider must be FENSA registered or equivalent (if relevant) and to self-certify compliance under building regulations. It is intended to give OES residents and leaseholders as much choice as possible regarding style and colour of components. There are three work packages, bidders will be invited to price these discretely and offer savings for combinations if more than 1 package was awarded to one provider. Works Package A, includes but is not limited to: Supply and fit uPVC double glazed windows, screens, panels and patio doors plus small quantities of other window types and uPVC doors if required.
