In addition, each year the authority provides special festive lighting arrangements for religious events eg Chanukah, Christmas, Diwali, Eid and Vaisakhi, and also provides lighting arrangements for other special events such as the Caribbean Carnival. This contract will encompass a white light replacement programme and the installation and integration of a Central Management System to facilitate late-night dimming to reduce energy demand. Managed Internet/Broadband Services for Student Residences. Provision of managed internet/broadband services for student residences, to include a base broadband service running at 10Mbps (with options to upgrade to increased speed), with no download/upload limitations. This will comprise a wireless service into all study rooms (1000+) and communal areas. A dedicated web portal must be available for students to access, to register and manage their account. The portal must be capable of carrying University branding and bespoke messages, and offer an alternative 'out-of-term' front-end. Support must be provided onsite for the initial set-up and connection. Thereafter, a dedicated support service must be available throughout the year, covering core hours. Online payment options must be available to students who might wish to upgrade individually from the baseline service. All network equipment must be fully serviced, maintained and replaced as required.
