ITT420 Widefield livecell imaging Microscope with laser module. We require a specialised wide field fluorescence microscope that will provide the temporal and spatial resolution to perform long term timelapse and complex photokinetic experiments as well as routine acquisition of fixed and live cell samples for deconvolution. The microscope will need to be equipped with a motorised stage and an environmental chamber. The system must be able to excite multiple fluorophores in the range of UV to far-red wavelengths. A number of high quality (NA) objective lenses should be provided from 10x through to 100x magnifications. We will need a camera to support quantifiable low light level live cell experiments that is also compatible with high spatial resolution imaging. For photoactivation and photobleaching experiments we require a module comprising 405, 488, 514 and 561 lasers. The acquisition and data processing software will be comprehensive, intuitive to use and robust. An offline server available for use by numerous users simultaneously is essential. On taking delivery of the system, ideally within 3 months from date of order, we expect comprehensive on-site training to be provided with continuing support and advice available over time.
