We will engage consultants geographically spread, total 5 consultants. Since 2000 Innovasjon Norge in Sogn og Fjordane and Nord-Trøndelag has run the process based establishment training programme Alkymisten. The programme was first carried out as a pilot in Sogn og Fjordane and it has been developed in a cooperation between Innovasjon Norge Sogn og Fjordane and Sogn og Fjordane University College. Innovasjon Norge has run the project in Nord-Trøndelag every year since 2003. Since the start the project owner has been Innovasjon Norge. For the new hospital in Østfold, the use of technology will be important to achieve efficiency and quality improvements. ICT is a necessary tool as process support for clinical personnel, and for support to assure fast diagnostics and treatment of patients, controlled by complete and interdisciplinary workflow. The introduction of sensor and tracking technology will reduce the need for personnel efforts and automate parts of the documentation. The exploitation of such technology will also add new knowledge and improve processes and service quality. A solution which is supporting patient care and provides decision support both in clinical and administrative routines is requested. The solution shall help achieving quality improvements by making available real-time data for decision-making processes. Real-time data shall be stored and the system shall help rationalising manual tasks at the hospital. Resource and process management system. Around 40 percent of the population of Sub-Saharan Africa still lack access to safe drinking water sources and 69 percent do not have access to improved sanitation facilities. The situation in rural areas is even worse, with 53 percent and 76 percent not having access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation, respectively. The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Initiative RWSSI, led by the African Development Bank was adopted as a common framework for resources mobilization and investment for rural water supply and sanitation services development in Africa. With its contribution to the RWSSI Trust Fund, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC aims at having a maximal positive impact in promoting access to water and sanitation at regional and country level, in both overall policy dialogue, implementing procedures and technical effectiveness and efficiency. SDC – as a leading donor in integrated water resources management and advocating a rights based approach to water and sanitation – aims at strengthening the sustainability of provision of access to water and sanitation, inclusive participation of stakeholders and beneficiaries, country led and country owned implementation in a decentralized manner.
