As part of the University's plan to achieve their objectives it is proposed to redevelop the Varley Halls of Residence site over a number of phases. Liverpool City Council are developing a new exhibition centre, known as Exhibition Centre Liverpool (ECL), which will have 8 100 square metres of in hall space plus support, circulation and servicing areas.
