These hostels accommodate male offenders who reside there under the terms of prison licences or other legal requirements, they are subject to night time curfews and a range of other restrictions. The provider's staff would work alongside a Probation member of staff at night, and (for Thames Valley only) also during the day. Cover is required 365 days/year and the provider would need to ensure that there are robust systems in place to cover leave and other absences.
