Replacement car park equipment. Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC) of 22 Great Victoria Street, Belfast are seeking to replace the car parking equipment and associated equipment in three multi-storey car parks owned and operated by the Company in Belfast city centre. NITHC may consider an option to replace the equipment at a surface car park located at Central Station, Belfast within the scope of the project. The method of acquisition will be by outright purchase and the successful provider will be required to design, deliver, install and commission the equipment and associated systems, provide warranties, training, documentation and on site support with system upgrades through a maintenance agreement. The three multi-storey car parks are Hi Park, Great Northern and Donegall Quay. Operational details of the car parks are as follows: Hi Park 565 Spaces – 1 Entry Lane – 1 Exit Lane – 1 Bi-directional Lane – 0 pay stations. Great Northern - 535 Spaces – 2 Entry Lane – 2 Exit Lane – 0 Bi-directional Lane – 0 pay stations. Donegall Quay - 282 Spaces – 1 Entry Lane – 1 Exit Lane – 1 Bi-directional Lane – 3 pay stations. Mechanical Overhaul 2010, Great Island Generating Station. Endesa's Great Island Generating Station is an oil fired station consisting of 3 conventional steam thermal generating units. The two 60MW units, Unit 1 and 2, ("A" station), were commissioned in 1967 and 1968 respectively. The 120 MW Unit 3, ("B" station), was later installed in 1972. Unit 1 & 2 are identical and consist on A VKW Natural circulation drum type boiler and a Parsons 2 cylinder turbine. Unit 3 consists of a Fives Penhoet natural circulation drum type boiler and a Parsons 3 cylinder turbine. All three units are Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) fired.
