Dismounted soldier systems team (DSS PT), part of the UK Ministary of Defence, has a contract with Qioptiq Limited for the support of the light weight thermal imager 2 + FIST (CASE/5855-99-316-0176) which expires 31.3.2012. DSS PT wishes to extend the contract one year until 31.3.2013. Qioptiq Limited manufactured and holds the IPR for this equipment. Since the contract was let DSS PT has been required to ensure that the current support arrangements for this type of equipment continue. The equipment is used in theatre and a change of support provider would cause major technical and economic inconvenience to the smooth support service essential to the users of this vital equipment. The value of the extension would be less than 5 % of the existing contract. NO-Oslo: construction work
Bjørnsletta school (1-10) - Turnkey contract-demolition/new building of school/multi-purpose hall. Bjørnsletta school is currently an 8th-10th year school with approx. 200 pupils. The existing school shall be demolished and a completely new 1st-10th year school shall be constructed for approx. 790 pupils in a new building of approx. 10 000 m2. In addition the project includes a small multi-purpose hall, the establishment of a new footpath from Skogfaret to the school's site and upgrading Åsjordet (road) with a pavement and road surface. The project is a model project in Futurebuilt which involves passive house and environmentally high quality requirements. L2 Arkitekter AS has, in cooperation with Østengen and Bergo Landskapsarkitekter AS, carried out a feasibility study which presents various alternatives for the school expansion. The programming, sketch project and preliminary project have been carried out based on one of the proposals in the feasibility study. At the same time a new development plan has been worked out for the area, which is approved by Oslo municipality. A separate engineering design group has been established for this purpose. The tender documents assume that the contract with the architect and landscape architect will be transferred to the turnkey contractor.
