Mediaspace - automated parking system. In December 2007, the Municipality of Aarhus arranged for a project competition involving a new central urban waterfront and Mediaspace in Aarhus. Following this project competition and a subsequent negotiated tender procedure, a general consultancy agreement was entered into in June 2009 with the company of Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects K/S regarding the project design and establishment of a new central urban waterfront and Mediaspace in Aarhus. The construction of the new Mediaspace in Aarhus also involves the establishment of a parking system which is to constitute the foundation of the building complex and will thus be closely integrated into the building.
