UK-Derby: financial transaction processing and clearing-house services
Tender for the service provision of alternative payment options. Derby City Council, Derby Homes and Erewash Borough Council provides its customers with various methods of payments for bills such as rent, council tax and homecare services, that are easy, simple to use in accessible and convenient locations in all areas of Derby city and Erewash borough. Last year the Authorities received a combined total of 252 298 transactions. These payments were made by using a payment card or presenting a barcoded bill to various payment outlets across Derby to allow the accurate allocation and tracking of payments from individual customers / debtors to the Authority on a daily basis. The Authorities are therefore, inviting organisations to tender that have experience of providing alternative payment options within a local government or similar environment via a secure link. The service provider must be able to deliver: — Information to the Authorities to ascertain each Debtor transaction; and, — The transmission of monies received from each Debtor to the Authorities bank accounts, — Secure handling of payments not only by payment card but also though barcoded paper bills, — Wide coverage of payment networks and outlets in the Derby and Erewash area to provide accessible payment facilities to the Authorities customers. Provision of coordination services at Dublin Airport, Ireland 2011-2016. Dublin airport is designated as a coordinated airport (level 3) within the meaning of Council Regulation (EEC) No. 95/93 of 18.1.1993 on Common Rules for the Allocation of Slots at Community Airports (as amended by Regulation (EC) No. 793/04 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21.4.2004). The Irish Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) invites tenders for the provision of schedule coordination services at Dublin Airport from suitably qualified and experienced providers of coordination services. Lift refurbishment and replacement. Guildford Borough Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake a comprehensive lift refurbishment programme at 3 sites within Guildford and to replace 6 lifts at a further site. The refurbishment programme is to be undertaken at: (1) Bedford House, a town centre building over a multi-storey car park, consisting of 67 flats on 4 levels with 5 lifts; (2) Mount Court, a medium rise 10 storey block of residential flats serviced by 2 lifts. The building is located close to the town centre and adjacent to; (3) Bishops Court, a medium rise 10 storey block of residential flats serviced by 2 lifts. The replacement lifts are to be installed at St Marthas Court, Chilworth, a sheltered housing complex of 39 flats arranged over 3 floor with 6 disability enabled lifts. Fáilte Ireland has conducted occupancy surveys amongst the Guesthouse, B&B, Self-catering (Group Schemes) and Hostel sectors for a number of years. Following the adoption of a new Fáilte Ireland strategy for developing the industry, the focus of this survey needs to change, with the aim being to use occupancy figures to calculate bednights at a national and regional level. Fáilte Ireland would also like to provide information on the above accommodation sectors in respect of capacity, demand, utilization and market demand for each of 10 key destinations identified in its current strategy. There is also likely to be a new EU directive on tourism occupancy statistics from Eurostat, the EU Commission's statistical office. The National Aquatic Centre intends to install variable speed drives (VSDs) on several pumps and fan motors serving swimming pools and air handling plant in order to allow speed control of said devices. UK-London: independent living support services for people with disabilities. The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is developing a Framework of Preferred Providers for the provision of independent living support services for people with disabilities and would like to hear from suitably qualified organisations. The Royal Borough is inviting tenders from organisations with at least 2 years' experience and a proven track record of providing high quality, responsive and cost effective independent living support services to people with disabilities as follows: Accommodation based services for each of the following clients groups: Disabilities (transition for both learning disabilities and physical disabilities); Learning disabilities (challenging behaviour); Learning disabilities (intergenerational (defined as, schemes for adults, no age restriction, catering for a variety of needs Integrated Personal Care and Housing Support); And integrated personal care and housing support services to include all of the above client groups. Accommodation based services: The core specification for the delivery of accommodation based services is to assist people with disabilities to develop or maintain their independence within the community, thus preventing the otherwise unnecessary use of more institutional forms of care. These services will significantly contribute towards the Council's total provision of supported housing schemes. The core services shall include: providing tenants with a friendly, informative service, advising them about services related to the scheme; controlling entry systems, and responding to assistive technology calls; providing a staff team to assist clients to get ready in the mornings/go to bed at night, and to maintain safety and security within the building; sleep-in cover, providing staffing to maintain safety and security in the building; and may include waking night cover and/or housing management. There will also be supplementary specifications for each of the client groups. The accommodation based service provider would be expected to work with people who have been given a personal budget to meet their social care needs as part of self directed support. Integrated personal care and housing-related support services: The Council is seeking to procure integrated personal care and housing-related support that will be available to people with disabilities in the Royal Borough. The specification for the delivery of Independent living support services is to assist people with disabilities to develop or maintain their independence within the community, thus preventing loss of their home or tenancy, and/or the otherwise unnecessary use of more institutional forms of care. The Council is particularly interested to hear from organisations that can offer the following:- experience of person-centred planning; knowledge of the local area; an outcomes based approach to service delivery and an understanding of how to deliver personalised services. Care Managers will use the preferred provider list to work with service users. This may include a block contract, but total contract value will be variable depending on individual service user choice through the use of personal budgets. These specifications cover the delivery of services that would require registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
