Scarborough, Harrogate & Richmond Borough Councils have partnered with Selby, Ryedale, Hambleton and Craven District Councils to create what is a fairly comprehensive list of cleaning materials and equipment requirements. We are therefore looking for a range of suppliers, with proven track records, to meet our requirements over the next 3-4 years. Scarborough Borough Council (SBC) set up its first Stand alone cleaning products framework back in 2006. However the recent Central Government initiative, Total Place, encourages all public sector bodies to work together to share costs and generate combined savings. With this in mind, and with a genuine desire to form a working relationship with other like minded organisations, we have extended the framework to include Selby, Rydale, Hambleton, and Craven District Councils as well as Richmond and Harrogate Borough Councils. We have also left the door open to allow any other North Yorkshire local authority or public sector body to join the framework. All orders for cleaning materials will be placed by the individual authority. Because of the number of authorities and the Geographical distance between them, we have broken the framework into four lots; each lot is then broken down into Sections. You will be asked to select those lots which are of interest to you, Because of our wide range of requirements, we may will look to award each lot to more than one supplier. The estimated value of the contract, excluding VAT, for all of the Cleaning Product requirements is approximately 250 000 GBP per year. This is based on 2009/2010 spend. Contracting parties.
