ICT equipment for schools autumn 2010. The procurement is a single purchase of various ICT equipment for schools in Halden municipality. 120 laptops are included in a trial project where pupils get their own individual PC. These PCs shall have a 3 year extended guarantee and support scheme. It is important for the awarding authority that the supplier has a large capacity and competence in good service for this delivery as the awarding authority is dependent on the equipment always functioning in spite of intensive use in a school environment. It is desirable if the offered equipment can be tested if the awarding authority deems it necessary. Tenders can be given for parts of the procurement. Tenders can be given for: 1. Laptop PCs and stationary PCs; 2. Laptop PCs trial scheme with extended guarantee and support scheme; 3. SmartBoard®; 4. Laptop PCs, stationary PCs, laptop PCs trial scheme and SmartBoard®. Halton Housing Trust (HHT) is a registered charity and a Registered Provider with the Tenant Services Authority. Our primary focus to date has been upon providing general needs housing. We have around 6 100 homes. We have completed our initial Decent Homes Investment Programme and our existing framework is coming to a close. This procurement is to provide a new framework for our ongoing need to maintain the condition of our stock, to maintain the Halton Standard for living conditions (Decent Homes Standard) and to improve the condition of the landscaped and external communal spaces that we own. The framework will be for four years. There will be annual or Neighbourhood specific call off contracts. We are interested in contractors able to manage our Investment Works and Environmental Works programmes. For Halton Housing Trust specifically; over the four year period of the framework we envisage the value of Investment Works to be 25 400 000 GBP. Our in-house Construction Services department will undertake a proportion of the works. We envisage the value of works that contractors will undertake for us to be between 13 400 000 GBP and 25 400 000 GBP. The Investment Works will comprise of the internal and external works required to maintain the condition of our properties. This will include for example; bathroom, kitchen, heating and boiler renewals, electrical rewires, maintenance to the external envelope and re roofing works. This procurement also includes our Environmental Works needs. These are the physical improvements we can make to the external 'spaces' within a Neighbourhood and are driven by the residents and stakeholders of each of our 14 Neighbourhoods. These can be green (landscaped) or grey (external communal) spaces and could be major or minor works. These could be improving a current use or changing the use totally. For Halton Housing Trust specifically; over the 4 year period of the framework we envisage the value of Environmental Works to be 3 000 000 GBP. It is important for interested parties to understand that we are evolving as an organisation; we are going beyond the traditional role of a social landlord and engaging in community regeneration.
