Purpose of service: 1.1 The Provider will provide statutory non-instructed independent advocacy to people aged 16+ who are permanently or temporarily resident in (Insert areas) and are eligible to receive the service under the provisions of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS); 1.2 The Provider will contribute its expertise to on-going awareness raising training on the principles and purpose of IMCA as agreed with the Purchaser; 2. UK-Bootle: composting services
Contract for the provision of a green waste composting service. Sefton Council generates compostable organic wastes from its services throughout the year. Such waste arisings are generated from: A near borough wide weekly kerb side collection of garden waste. Collected loose via Refuse Compaction Vehicles (RCV) for delivery to a facility for composting. Quantities will depend on public uptake of the service but is anticipated to be approx 20 000 tonnes. Tenderers are encouraged to submit bids for various quantities. Bagged garden waste will also be generated from our Bulky Items collection service. A seasonal collection over the Autumn will generate across Sefton up to 1 500 tonnes of leaf sweepings. Such materials will be delivered over this period via Sefton's street cleansing fleet. Tenderers will only be required to submit bids for up to 1 000 tonnes. A January collection of domestic Christmas trees via our Bulky items collection service. Such materials will be delivered either via skips or RCV in their presented form for collection. Collections of such material are likely to be no more than 50 tonnes and tenderers are encouraged to bid for up to this amount. Sefton encourages tenderers to submit bids for all requested materials in the quantities outlined in the tender document. However, each submission will be considered on its own merit. Tenders will be evaluated on total cost to Sefton. This will include our delivery and associated costs to bring materials to the composting site. More generally our evaluation process will require tenderers to demonstrate adequacy and competency in relation to: Environmental impact of their proposals. The viability of their proposed site(s). Commercial and technical sustainability of their proposals. Their proposals fits in with Sefton Councils operational needs.
