The T-connection K2: Raglamyr - Tuastad. The T-connection consists in construction of a new east-west connection between European road 39 (E39) in Tysvær municipality and County road 47 (Fv47) in Karmøy municipality as well as new road northward to European road 134 (E134) in Haugesund municipality. The project includes submarine tunnels below Karmsundet and Førresfjorden, roundabout in rock as well as tunnel branch to Fosen. The object of the project: Provide Karmøy municipality improved connection with European road 39. Relieve existing National road 47 in the northern part of Karmøy. Provide reduced driving distances and reduced transportation costs. Fortify the industrial axis Håvik-Kårstø. Provide better access to Haugesund airport, Karmøy.
