Provision of a School Meal Service. The London Borough of Brent working in collaboration with some schools is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide a school meal service. The intention is for the contract to be a framework agreement. The service will cover mainly the provision of a lunchtime school meal service for the School's pupils, staff and guests and will involve providing meals to meet specific dietary requirements for example the provision of halal and kosher meals to meet cultural / religious dietary requirements of schools. The service will also cover providing catering for after school functions / clubs i.e. breakfast clubs, the preparation and serving of morning and afternoon snacks / breakfast as and when required by the school. It is anticipated that the Framework agreement will commence in December 2012 for a 3 year period with the option to extend for up to one year.
