The purpose of this contract is to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the Welsh-medium education strategy and some specific programmes implemented in support of the strategy. The objectives of the evaluation of the Welsh-medium education strategy are wide ranging. They encompass an evaluation of the strategy's implementation programme and evaluations of specific programmes which seek to realise the strategy's ambitions. Specific objectives for this over-arching evaluation include amongst others: — Whether the assumptions/hypotheses underlying the Welsh-medium education strategy are well founded, — Whether, in the light of experience, the strategic aims and objectives are appropriate and achievable, — How effectively different elements of the Strategy knit together and how well they fit with other Welsh Government policies, — The degree to which the Strategy has provided the Welsh in education unit a platform for promoting a growth in Welsh-medium education, — The extent to which the Strategy is bringing about the changes sought within the education and training system, — The effectiveness of the support mechanisms (including funding arrangements) needed to initiate change, — Factors which are hindering or helping the realisation of the Strategy's aims and objectives, — Whether initiatives undertaken represent value for money, — The effectiveness of particular initiatives undertaken in the name of the strategy, and, — How the Strategy, or its component elements, need to change in order to meet the Welsh Government's aspirations i.e. the evaluation should help to inform the Welsh Government's decision making. It was developed as a setting where academics, policy-makers, practitioners and local people can come together to confront problems facing population health in Glasgow. Although based in Glasgow, and focused on achieving improved health in the city region, the GCPH works on issues of national and international importance and has stakeholders and collaborations throughout the UK and internationally. The GCPH is a partnership between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Glasgow City Council and the University of Glasgow, supported by Scottish Government. UK-Selby: repair and maintenance services of building installations
EN Procure heating systems servicing and maintenance framework. Efficiency North, a consortium of social housing providers with stock primarily in the Yorkshire and Humber region of England, (acting as authorised agent on behalf of its contracting authority members), is procuring a framework agreement for the servicing, testing and maintenance of heating systems. It is envisaged that volume will be mainly for domestic systems, however there may be a requirement over the 4 years for commercial and/or multi fuel servicing and maintenance. Efficiency North is supported by the Homes and Communities Agency and YoHr Space the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership.
