UK-Kingston upon Thames: special-purpose road passenger-transport services
Adult social care and health journeys transport services - Surrey. Surrey County Council (acting as the Lead Authority) intends to conclude a framework agreement for the provision of transport services for non emergency and adult social care journeys throughout the Council's administrative area of Surrey for the benefit of the Surrey County Council plus each of the eleven District and Borough Councils in Surrey and relevant health related organisations as follows: Elmbridge Borough Council, Epsom and Ewell Borough Council, Guildford Borough Council, Mole Valley District Council, Reigate and Banstead Borough Council, Runnymede Borough Council, Spelthorne Borough Council, Surrey Heath Borough Council, Tandridge District Council, Waverley Borough Council, Woking Borough Council, plus South East England NHS Primary Care Trusts (and any successor bodies), South East England NHS Acute Trusts (and any successor bodies), other South East England health related organisations and Independent Providers for South East England NHS Treatments that may wish to join this contract at a later date. The framework agreement will include multiple lots which any of the above listed bodies (Contracting Authorities) will be entitled at their discretion to use by award a specific contract ("call-off contract") from time to time based on the framework agreement. Tenderers can bid for one, any or all lots. There is no guarantee of the level of work commissioned under these lots. Surrey County Council (acting as the lead authority) shall be under no obligation or liability in relation to any call off contract made by any other Contracting Authority, responsibility for any call-off contract remains exclusively with the Contracting Authority that issues the call-off contract. The framework agreement will allow the Contracting Authorities to use the services of the suppliers appointed under the framework agreement after they have entered into an access agreement with the lead authority and will not result in any restriction upon the ability of each Contracting Authority at its own discretion to use the services of any other contracting arrangements or third party supplier.
