Procurement of laboratory services for oil and sampling equipment and guidance during incidents. The objective of the procurement is to meet the Norwegian Coastal Administration's and the Norwegian Maritime Authority's requirement for analyses of oil, sampling equipment and guidance/consultancy in connection with incidents with acute oil pollution. The analyses of oil/oil products include securing of evidence (finger prints) in relation to oil spill. In order to secure evidence, analyses must be taken of the source of the spill and the actual spill. This shall be use for confirm/disprove the source of the pollution. In addition, the Norwegian Coastal Administration will need to obtain as much as possible knowledge regarding the characteristics of the pollution. Results from analyses and assessments shall provide as much facts as possible of the oil. These facts shall be used in assessments regarding which mitigation measures shall be implemented.
