The Authority requires a job evaluation scheme that meets legislative requirements (including any relevant implications of the Winsor Review) for a public sector organisation which is relevant to the business needs and roles of police staff within Devon and Cornwall Police. The system will be applied to the Force's entire police staff (approximately 2,300 employees) which includes Police Staff, PCSO's and Police Authority Officers. Job evaluation. The Authority requires the analytical job evaluation scheme itself together with scheme specific consultancy support, for example: Job description design; Job analysis, including quality assurance processes to ensure consistency; Training of staff, managers, union representatives, job analysts and evaluators; Assistance with staff communications; Assistance with the administration of the scheme; Resource to undertake some or all of the job evaluation analysis, evaluation, and moderation across the full range of jobs; Expert guidance in the quality assurance process of the evaluations. It is essential data for modelling people's future travel choices, and trends in overall demand for travel.
